The top selling group Mumford & Sons, announced on their website Tuesday that their bassist Ted Dwane was hospitalized for “emergency treatment”. Reports stated that scans taken after the bass player had been feeling ill, revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain. Fellow band mate Winston Marshall tweeted yesterday “Ted is recovering nicely from surgery. He’s a brave little boy. Thanks for all your support. We are very grateful.”

The band had to postpone three of their shows along their US tour; Dallas, Houston and New Orleans. Word is also moving around that they may have to cancel their appearance at the UK Glastonbury festival later this month.
