Rudimental’s ‘Right Here’ Keep The Beats Going From ‘Home’

Rudimental keep the great beats and vocals coming with their fourth release “Right Here”, from their debut album Home. One thing that really stands out with this album is their choice of vocal collaboration for each single. John Newman who helped to write and sing their number one hit “Feel The Love” has already moved forward with his own debut album journey, reaching number one on the UK single chart with “Love Me Again”. The real art here is the ability of this British electronic quartet to join forces with separate artists and yet create a sound that is singular in its totality. I would venture to bet that a lot of first comers to Rudimental upon hearing a song like “Waiting All Night” or “Right Here” think this is THE group. They pull it off over and over again.

Listen to the audio below for a shorter version than the six minute video. The official video was directed by Josh Cole and shot at the Tiger Temple in western Thailand. The video won Cole the Best New Director prize at the Cannes Lions advertising festival. So you have your choice today to listen to the short version or watch the incredible video for an extended time. Either way we hope you like Today’s Tune for July 20, 2013.
