Ariana Grande Does The Chicken On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Ariana Grande acted like a chicken last night on Tuesday’s edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live, but it was all for fun and her fans. The pop singer who was scheduled to appear on the late night talk show, tweeted her fans earlier in the day to come dressed to the show in a costume. She promised that the best dressed fans would get an opportunity to meet her in person.

After a few funny questions from Jimmy Kimmel, each contestant was asked to sing a chorus from one of Ariana’s songs. When it got to the chicken’s turn, the trick was up and the two lucky fans got the surprise of their lives.

The good news is Ariana Grande wasn’t a chicken for long. The singer/songwriter changed into a sparkly black dress and performed two songs, off her number one album Yours Truly, before the live crowd.

The Nickelodeon star kicked things off with the third single released off of her debut album back in August, “Right There”. The track features American rapper Big Sean. The crowd were treated to a full fledge performance, with flashing lights, dancers and the incredible voice of Grande singing live.

Ariana also sang her hit song “The Way”, which put her on the music map this year and helped turn her into a legitimate pop star. She began the song a capella, showing off her amazing vocal skills and range. The song which features rapper Mac Miller reached the 9th position on Billboards Hot 100 this past summer.

The show also had guests Johnny Knoxville & Jackson Nicoll from the new movie Jackass Presents Bad Grandpa and Dancing With The Stars Julianne Hough. Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
