RDGLDGRN Debut ‘Doing The Most’ Video With Grohl and Pharrell

Northern Virginia’s indie trio RDGLDGRN (Red Gold Green), have released the official video for their song, ‘Doing The Most’ from their debut self-titled album. The song was co-written with a fellow Virginia native, Pharrell Williams and features Dave Grohl on drums. The video begins with Grohl explaining how he came to play on this latest track from RDGLDGRN. The Foo Fighters member was in the area working on his documentary, when he was asked to come and play on the song, “I Love Lamp”. He ended up playing drums for all but one track on the entire LP. “Doing The Most” is a mash up of indie-rock and reggae-esque hip-hop, with Pharrells fingerprint being evident in its addictive repeating hook and close arms to the body dance-beat.

The bands self-titled debut album released this past September and is available on iTunes. Two previous released songs, “I Love Lamp” and “Million Fans” received positive reviews and even saw the trio perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live in early 2013. Red Gold Green’s sound is a unique blend of several different genres and with the musical experience of powerhouses like Grohl and Williams on this latest release, how can you go wrong. Set this thing on replay and practice that two-step!
