Emmy Nominated Shows You May Not Have Seen – ‘Wild Things’ Starring Dominic Monaghan

How many times have you watched those nomiations being read at the Emmy’s only to quip, “How long has that been on, I’ve never heard of it”. In a day where there is a plethora of viewing choices, many times viewers never make it around the dial (I know, I just dated myself there) to see all the programs that are available.

Case in point, did you know that Lord of The Rings actor Dominic Monaghan (Meriadoc Brandybuck), who also starred in the television series Lost, is not only an actor, but a avid adventurer and host of his own show called, ‘Wild Things’ on BBC America.

The show which has been nominated for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program at the 66th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards airing August 25th, follows Dominic and his cameraman as they “travel across four continents to far-flung countries in search of the largest, weirdest and most intense creatures alive – all in an attempt to ease fears of these often misunderstood animals“.

The show’s second season finished up on March 27th of this year following 10 episodes.
