Ryan Gosling & Russell Crowe Film The Nice Guys In LA

Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe looked like they had stepped back in time while filming in LA this week. The pair were on location at a burned down house in Los Angeles Thursday, shooting a scene for their new movie “The Nice Guys”, which is due out this Summer. The film is about a private eye that investigates the apparent suicide of a fading porn star in 1970s Los Angeles and uncovers a conspiracy; thus the reason for the dated clothing.

Ryan Gosling plays private eye Holland March and the role of the hired leg-breaker Jackson Healy, is played by Russell Crowe. The detective thriller is being directed by Shane Black, who has helmed films such as ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and ‘Iron Man 3″. Black directs from an original screenplay he wrote with Anthony Bagarozzi, which makes the upcoming film twice as exciting considering Shane wrote the original Lethal Weapon back in 1985.

Both actors had the 70’s style wavy hair and facial hair. Ryan had a paisley shirt buttoned up half way, exposing his “wife-beater” and gold necklace. His golden accessories for the role also included a watch and pinky ring. Russell Crowe sported a light blue leather jacket, blue polo and jeans for the days scene.
