Unfriended Movie Trailer Is Scary All By Itself | Movies

The new ‘Unfriended’ movie trailer from Universal Pictures is scary all by itself. Looking more like a home-made movie, viewers watch as a group of friends Skype online from the comfort of their own homes. As they chat, another unidentified guest joins and things get crazy. If you ever bullied someone or uploaded something to the internet, prepare to get scared straight. ‘Unfriended’ looks to do for the computer what Jaws did to swimming back in the 70’s; you may never want to go back online again.

The upcoming horror film was picked up by Universal after they saw an audience become terrified during a test screening. The movie follows a night from hell, when six friends are terrorized by an unseen guest, who is out to seek vengeance for a shaming video that led a popular teen to kill herself a year earlier.

It’s a Skype chat from Hell!

The entire film is seen from the viewpoint of one girls computer monitor. In split screen, the teens are seen losing control of their keyboards, the lights in the house and eventually being forced to kill themselves (in really gruesome ways), as the others watch.
