It’s all about the mobile watches these days and Samsung is stepping up with their Gear S2 edition. If you’ve seen the recent TV commercial for the Samsung Watch, you probably couldn’t help but bob your head along to the ads thumping track.

If you’re wondering “what’s the song?” on the new Samsung Gear S2 watch commercial, we’ve got the answer. The synthy, electrified hip-hop song is called “The Buzz”, by award winning Australian duo – Hermitude.

Samsung Gear S2 Watch Commercial

Hermitude is made up of Luke Dubs and Elgusto (Angus Stuart), from Sydney, Australia. That addictive single “The Buzz”, is off of the pair’s latest LP Dark Night Sweet Light, and features vocals from Croatian singer Mataya and New Zealand resident, Young Tapz.

Dubs and Elgusto deliver a banging track with its soul-touched intro, thumping bass, synthy samples, and a good solid chorus preceding drop. Mataya layers the mystical soul, while Young Tapz infuses the track with his infectious vocal.

Luke Dubs and Elgusto are having a good year in 2015 and in November it could get alot better. The duo are up for 7 ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards) Award nominations with their album Dark Night Sweet Light. The categories include Album of the Year, Best Live Act, Best Independant Release, Best Group, Best Video, Producer of the Year and Engineer of the Year. The album already went number one earlier this year, on the Australian charts.
