What’s The Song On The Samsung Gear VR Commercial With LeBron James?

LeBron James never gets complacent and in the new commercial for the Samsung Gear VR headset, he’s getting one for the “The Land”; Cleveland that is. Stepping into the gym, the NBA master has a funky tune playing on his Galaxy that everyone is rapping along to.

If you’re wondering “what’s the song” on the new Samsung Gear VR commercial, we’ve got the answer. That sweet, old school hip-hop treat is called “Welcome To The Terrordome” by Long Islands, Hall of Fame hip-hop group, Public Enemy.

The Commercial – LeBron James in Samsung Gear VR TV Ad

The track “Welcome To The Terrordome” was released way back in 1990, on the groups third studio record titled, Fear of a Black Planet.

Like most of Public Enemies work, the song has been considered controversial since its release; although in the TV ad with Lebron it just about the jam.

Working or working out, LeBron knows how to set the tone with Public Enemy and Samsung. The single and album are available on iTunes.

As Samsung says, “Virtual reality, just got real”. Find out more about the VR headset at www.samsung.com
