A Rocket To The Moon Prepare For Their Final Performace

After five years together the American Rock band, A Rocket To The Moon will finish their final tour on August 31st in Cambridge, MA before breaking up. Through the years the group has seen members come and go, two studio albums and alot of time on the road. What began with their best friends The Maine, another US rock group from Arizona, has finished the same as the two groups just completed playing together throughout the summer. The founder of the band Nick Santino made a recent post on the bands website saying:

Five years ago we played our first show with our best friends The Maine in Tempe Arizona. We were just a bunch of kids setting out to follow our dreams, see the world and make our parents proud…It is with the heaviest of hearts that we’ve decided this will be our final US tour.”

Speaking to their many fans the band had this to say:

You guys, our fans, have supported us through everything. The good times and the bad. We owe you the world and words simply cannot begin to describe the amount of gratitude and love we have for each and every one of you. We ask that you come see us this summer, share some stories, laugh, sing and cry with us.”

We’ve chosen their official music video for “Ever Enough” from their final album Wild & Free as the feature of this post. The video which was released in February of this year, stars Debby Ryan from the Disney channel show, Jessie. Ever Enough is a beautiful ballad filled with inspirational lyrics. Below we’ve added another track from the album, the rocky “Call It All Home” which tells the story of the band, with the lyrics:

Until we’re back in California where we keep our friends around
Make our way to Arizona never turned the party down
And out in Massachusetts when we meet up to hit the road
Just shows how small the world really is
And we call it all home.
