Rudimental Unveils “Powerless” Video Featuring Boxers The Burrell Twins

Rudimental keep the music coming from their debut album Home, with the release of their new video for ‘Powerless’, featuring Becky Hill. The English foursome collaborated with director David Edwards for the black and white visual, which shows the story of identical twin boxing brothers, The Burrells. As Becky Hill supplies her soulful vocals, scenes of Scotty and Deano Burrell training, boxing and hanging out as little brothers fill the screen. The Queens New York born twins took up boxing while living in England and eventually moved back to New York to pursue a professional career in the sport. We also get a birds eye view of the boys mother, as she struggles not only with their chosen sport, but with the fact that ultimately they are fighting against each other.

Rudimental’s number one debut is proving to be a treasure chest of hit songs and ‘Powerless’ follows in the same inspirational vibe as “Waiting All Night” and ‘Free’. Becky Hill who co-wrote the single with Hannah Symons, brings her words to life with her powerful vocal performance. Another great song and video combination to add to the list for the English electronic quartet.
