Strange Talk Release Debut LP & ‘Young Hearts’ Official Video

No doubt the single “Young Hearts” from Australia’s Strange Talk is going places, already hitting number one on Hype Machine and yesterday (Wed April 30th) it got a little extra help with an official video. The ‘Down Under’ band of Stephen Docker (vocals, keys), Gerard Sidhu (bass, keys), Travis Constable (drums) and Gillan Gregory (guitar, keys) have stirred bigwig music sites like Billboard and Rolling Stone to give their praise of the debut calling it “Equal parts Cut Copy and Daft Punk and “Bursting with ornate synthesizers and warm vocals”.

We gave our approval back in December when their single, “Climbing Walls” took the Song of The Day spot on the 10th. We’re just happy to see this record finally coming ashore here in the States.

“Young Hearts” is a synth-pop electric treat with fun lyrics like, “grown ups, what do they know, living by the stories on the radio, bad news on the T.V., headlines are made of reality, we’re young hearts, look at us go, all we really need is a stereo”. Enjoy!
