Hollywood was shaken today by news that actor and comedian Robin Williams, had died at age 63. Authorities are saying at this point, it appears to be suicide by asphyxiation. Williams who was famous for such roles as Mrs. Doubtfire and most recently Teddy Roosevlet in Night At The Museum, was found unconscious around noon, inside his residence in unincorporated Tiburon, California according to the report by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

His publicist Mara Buxbaum said in a statement today, that Williams “has been battling severe depression of late,”… “This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.” People reported in July that the actor had checked himself back into rehab to “fine-tune” his sobriety.
