Benedict Cumberbatch Stomps The Competition In Ice Bucket Challenge

Oh, come on, you know this (wonderful) act of charity is turning into a competition among celebrities. I’m beginning to think that producers and agents are helping out as well (which we think is great). Everyone is putting a twist on it and this week Mr. Sherlock Holmes himself, Benedict Cumberbatch has set the bar extremely high, in the ALS (MND) Ice Bucket Challenge.

This isn’t just anyone to send the challenge out to either. The award winning actor became the ambassador of the Motor Neurone Disease Association in the Uk, after playing Stephen Hawking in the made for television film, Hawking in 2004. He was nominated by fellow actor Tom Hiddleston, Juno Temple and Adelaide Clemens.

Others have done multiple buckets for sure, but Benedict mixes in his craft for one hilarious video that has already gone viral, currently at 3 million views. Not to miss the point of the act, the English actor was sure to remind viewers about this horrific disease and to give. He challenged F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Film Producer Harvey Weinstein and Australian singer Kylie Minogue.
