Ella Henderson Cracks USA On Good Morning America

She may have finished in sixth place back on the 9th series of X-Factor UK, but we’ve known all along that Ella Henderson was going to make her mark. This morning, the 19 year old English singer performed her breakout debut single “Ghost” on ABC’s Good Morning America. The fastest rising single in the UK this year, Ella did a great job of letting her talent show during her live televised performance.

The single is from her upcoming debut album Chapter One, due out this September. The track has already gone number one in the UK and she’ll be releasing the follow up single “Glow” back home this coming Tuesday.

The interview on ABC’s GMA:

It was the video of the then 17 year old Henderson seated at a piano singing her song “Five Tattoos”, that blew us away and solidified she was going to be huge. Hooking up with hit writers like Ryan Tedder for her debut, coupled with her amazing vocal ability, could spell success here in the states similar to Adele.
