Reality Star & Fitness Model Greg Plitt Dead At 37

Reality star & fitness model Greg Plitt dead at 37 years of age, after being struck by a train. According to reports, Greg was out with friends filming the passing trains along a section of track in Burbank, California on Saturday, when he was hit and killed. Shortly after the incident, which happened before 5pm, police were still investigating the death and had not yet determined the cause. A Metrolink passenger told a local TV station, “He had on all black. The train went by. I saw him stumble over the tracks. He had a camcorder in his hand”. Plitt was set to appear in Bravo TV’s new reality series, ‘Friends To Lovers’ which premieres this coming Monday.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland Greg Plitt had quite a list of accomplishments over his 37 years. He appeared in several movies playing small parts or body doubles, graced the covers of over a hundred magazines, as well appearing on reality TV. A fitness instructor, Gregg was named one of America’s 25 Fittest Americans alongside Lance Armstrong by “Men’s Fitness” magazine and “DNA Magazine” called him one of the 60 Sexiest Men Alive alongside Daniel Craig. In 2013 he played a skydiving instructor in the movie “Grudge Match”, opposite Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro.

Before becoming noted for fitness, Gregg was a graduate of West Point Military Academy, a U.S. Army Ranger, a former Army captain and company commander of 184 soldiers, according to his Facebook bio. Bravo wrote in his cast bio for the upcoming reality dating series that, “his biggest fear is to look back on his life and think he could have done more with it”.

In what is being talked about online as an eerie lead up to his unexpected death, the young vibrant model just last month posted a video on his Instagram account where he asks, “What will you be remembered for”. Gregg is seen showing off his physique while working out in the short visual, before falling backwards in a bungee jump.
