Chris Pratt Wears Patriots Jersey For Losing Bet & Visits Sick Kids

“Guardians of the Galaxy” star Chris Pratt was all smiles, when he dropped by Christopher’s Haven on February 6, 2015 in Boston, Massachusetts. Chris, a Seattle Seahawks fan, lost a Super Bowl bet to Marvel star Chris Evans (Captain America), in which he promised to visit his charity.

The two hit Twitter in January in the lead up to the big game and challenged each other to a bet. The fan of the losing team would visit the charity of the winner.

Evans other requirement was that Chris wear a Patriots jersey. Had the Seahawks won, Evans was to show up at Seattle Children’s Hospital dressed as Captain America to visit the children there, while carrying a 12th man flag.

The actors also established the #Twitterbowl 2015, with links for donations to their charities. The outpouring of generous fans who joined in on the fun, resulted in a total of $27,000. The split was almost even, with $15,000 going to Seattle Children’s Hospital and $12,000 to Christopher’s Haven.

Being the good sport and caring guy that he is, the Captain America star promised to follow through with his side and still visit the children at the Seattle Hospital; in full costume.

If you’re thinking they get the better deal, don’t worry, Chris Pratt dumped the jersey once inside the hospital and donned his Star Lord outfit from the Guardians.

Christopher’s Haven houses families with children who have cancer and are getting treatment at Massachusetts General.

They really are superheros!
