Taylor Swift Sets The Mark In 2016 With Her ‘Out Of The Woods’ Music Video

Taylor Swift gave music fans something fresh to enjoy while ringing in the new year this week. During ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, she premiered her brand new video for her latest hit, “Out Of The Woods”. In doing so, Taylor Swift has set the mark for music videos in 2016; high.

We should all know by now that Taylor Swift isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon, but higher up the ladder of success. The video, which shows the 26 year old singer working her way through the woods in a blue dress, has already received almost 3 million views in less than 24 hours.

Taylor Swift’s New Years Video “Out Of The Woods”

Even if you weren’t a Swift fan, you’ve got to admit the music video for “Out Of The Woods” is captivating. Filmed in New Zealand, the stunning backdrops and visual effects demonstrate the kind of purse the hit maker has at her disposal.

In her usual style, she’s telling a story of course. Like those “Hidden Mickey’s” in Disney World, we’re bound to hear later on in the year just what all the imagery represents. Like those pack of wolves chasing after her.

The single is the sixth from her most recent studio album, 1989. It was written by Swift and Jack Antonoff of the group Fun and according to Taylor, was about a relationship she had where she was daily wondering where it was headed.

Break-ups and bad relationships have helped turn Taylor Swift into a superstar and there seems to be no slowing down in the New Year ahead.

The “Out Of The Woods” music video has set the bar high right out of the gate, which should mean good things ahead for music fans around the world.
