Star Wars: The Force Awakens Goes From Film To Marvel Comics This June

Star Wars never gets old, no matter how many ways the franchise decides to bring it to the masses. This coming June, the blockbuster film Star Wars: The Force Awakens is going from the screen, to the comic book.



Marvel will be bringing the first comic in a six issue limited series titled, STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS ADAPTATION #1 to comic book stores everywhere, this June.

Written by Chuck Wendig (Star Wars: Aftermath), with art work by Luke Ross (Hercules), the limited series will follow along as the lives of A young scavenger named Rey, a deserting Stormtrooper named Finn, an ace pilot named Poe, and a dark apprentice named Kylo Ren – all collide, decades after the Rebel Alliance toppled the Galactic Empire.
